Nudists Wardrobe

Even nudists have to wear clothes sometimes. Is it the bare minimum? Is it see-through, skimpy or barely legal? And what fun do you have wearing it?

Reducing Clothing Supply

Return to Discussions

I always feel a sense of freedom when I am able to get rid of some clothing and not replace it, thereby reducing my total clothing supply.
While I do have a lot of clothing for someone who likes to be nude when possible, I only have about half as much as I did when I was working.
My closet is only about half full even though I have moved my lightweight outerwear from the entry closet to my own.
I have emptied two drawers in my dresser and still no longer need to keep any out of season clothe elsewhere.
Especially rewarding was when I completely eliminated two Categories of clothing, sleepwear about 30 years ago and underwear about 2.
Does anyone else feel the same way when they reduce their clothing supply?

One of my goals for this year is to go through my shirts and get rid of some. No reason why someone who aviods shirts wherever possible should have as many as I do!

I drastically reduced my clothes a few months back, totally eliminating any sleep wear, underwear and swimwear. I do have to wear something when on holiday at times even though they are all nudist holidays. So now I have a collection of flimsy wraps and kilts (mostly very short) and hardly any trousers.

RE:Reducing Clothing Supply

Went through my wardrobe earlier this week and got rid of my only suit, a pair of shorts, and a few shirts.
Will toss one pair of sweatpants and cut one or both pair of jeans when the weather gets consistently warm
I will then be where I want to be for slacks and shorts.
Still have too many shirts but all of my tanks and t's and most of my polos have some printing on them that has some significance to me, so I don't know how to get rid of any.
I guess I will have to just keep more than I need for a while.

Cut both of my pairs of jeans into shorts today.
For the first time that I can remember, I have no long jeans.
Any time I can eliminate a class of clothing I feel a sense of liberation.
Now the only long pants I have are 2 pair of Khakis, 2 pair of cargo shorts that zip off to be shorts, and one pair of lightweight sweats.

Rearranged my reduced clothing supply and got everything in half the space I used before I retired.
That means I have reduced my clothing supply by more than half because it now includes out of season clothing which I used to store elseswhere in the house and light weight outerwear from the hall closet.

Saw where a local homeless shelter is having a clothing drive called Operation Empty Closet. While my closet and dresser are already over half empty, this is encouraging me to donate my excess shirts.

Wife noticed the two empty drawers and filled them with her overflow clothes.
