Nudists Who Want Anti-Nudism Laws C

A group for those of us who want to have anti-nudism laws in our areas or states overturned or changed!

Beautiful beaches, lots of coast, but no legal CO beaches. Comes back to politicians and getting voted back in I think, doesn't mater about the party and how allegedly progressive or conservative they may be. It's about priorities and how many votes.

Not sure how to tackle that. It would require legislation at the state level although perhaps a council could be persuaded to lobby for it if they saw a benefit through, say, tourism. Perhaps the Olympics may be able to be used as a catalyst in between debates over the eye-watering costs expected for the preparation?

The UK changes would otherwise be the best model if sufficient people are prepared to stand up with similar intent.

The only way we can get political support is to show them the money!
While I understand you seek changes in Queensland, I believe seeking a national change would ceryainly have better chance to bring changes....
Asking legislation to allow more legal nudity won't cut it, unless not only we show them the economicbenefits of developing the clothes free industry in Australia butwe would ceryainly need to give them a blueprint as to how to do it.
Having the hardwork done and clearly illustrating the positive financial fall out on the local and national econony is the ONLY way we will get their attention.
I invite you to check my blog entry....A blueprint to developing NATURISM in Australia.
I was also keen to start a petition...check my blog too for more info, but ungortinatelyAustralian naturist associations and budinessesdid not even bother acknowledging or replying...they seem to enjoy the status quo, as if more freedom were gained they are afraid they may lose membership/ business....so keeping the current approach works well for them...as to gain support from other nudists/ naturists...good luck...experience tells me they all want changes....as long as someone elsedo everything...not many are keen to even sign a petition...for privacy reasons etc...
If only we could get a similar rights like in Spain...a great country in which the right to be nude in public is in their constitution...feel free to check my blog for more i fo on that one too....
So to resume the situation...there is a huge task ahead and not much support available...having said so, I believe a handfull of dedicated naturist COULD make a difference if they were to work together...

Not sure the UK model wpuld be best suited.
I would rather follow on the changes like in Spain.
Gathering support from Aussie nudists/naturists won't be easy. Experience shows people wait for othets to do something, not may want to be directly involved, which is a shame...I touch on those issues in my blog, feel free to check it over and revert.

The thing is, with our system, such issues are the domain of the states, as we adopted the US approach at Federation of competing ideas at the state level with Federal government only tackling the national issues like defence. (Of course, that has been corrupted over the years with the Feds taking more control over areas they shouldn't, usually but linking issues to international treaties which are their responsibility.)

The post by Sandy Bolton, https://www.sandybolton.com/alexandria-bay-noosa-national-park-april-2023/ is the sort of start I was thinking of, and she's taken it!
