For some reason I have not been accepted to the other group similar to this. This group is for everyone to discuss what they enjoy, where they enjoy it, and hot tips. As I find that most that use straight razors, also partake of good tobac and drink, lets discuss that as well. Return to DiscussionsI go for Maduro. Tried Candela early on, but wasn't impressed. Natural/Connecticut tasted like burning grass. Nestor had a black, oily wrapper years ago that had a nice dark chocolate note to it but the 3rd box I bought tasted nasty and they stopped selling them.
i love Maduro, but have become a big fan of the Kristoff Cameroons! I like the Matador size .
The Cameroon wrapper is sort of a raisin note a little black pepper but not super assaulting on ones nose with the retro-hale . Espresso , a little cashew and buttered toast and a hint of leather. This complex delicious smoke occupies a significant space in my humidor.
