Return to DiscussionsAt my camp, most people are shaved. They even tell you it is you option on how you want your pubes. But looking around, you want to be shaven. A handful of people had trim or a shorten bush. Several people sport their wax job. I prefer to be shaved. Even guys that are very hairy, they shaved their pubes.
It was thought to be a fad or trend. It was also thought that it would end and most everyone in the nudist community would revert back to natural growth. That has not been the case with removing one's pubic hair. It's always been a personal choice but for some, it was removing yet another layer of coverage for their nude body. The vast majority of nudists at clubs and resorts have removed all or most of their pubic hair for a variety of reasons. If a fad or trend, it's lasted decades now.
I feel any alteration or modification in our genital area is simply a way of expressing ourselves for those fortunate enough to see us nude. Personally I've trimmed, shaved and dyed my pubic hair. I also have tattoos on my penis and ass as well as genital piercings.

I always shave, even in the winter, there seem to be very few nudists who dont shave
