After shaving for year I decided to get laser treatment. It was a bit expensive, but the results are all that I could hope for.

So you like the results so far? I've thought about giving waxing a shot but I also like the idea of it being permanent with laser treatment.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the group and thought that I would chime in on this subject. I just had my first round of laser treatment and cant wait to see the results. Actually, think that this is the first time I have ever wanted to see my hair grow back. I was a bit nervous at first because I have heard it compared to getting a tattoo. I do have a tattoo but did not care for the experience and the idea of getting one on my balls instantly made me hurt just thinking about it. After being told to man up, I'm glad I went. It was not as bad as I thought it would be at all. I was told that the usual person takes about 6 sessions which will kill off 85-90% of the hair. What hair remains are very fine and don't grow fast which only requires a quick clean-up every 2-3 weeks. The place where I got mine done has a package where I sign up for 6 months of recurring monthly charges of $100 per month. After that I can keep the $100 charges going every month if needed for extra sessions, get other areas of the body, or cancel. Some people do require more sessions depending on skin tone, and hair thickness. From my understanding, it will work better on a fair skinned burnet then say a Brazilian burnet. Gingers have fair skin but it may not work as well because their hair is finer and also lacks pigment that the laser attacks. Back to the money aspect. My wife got hers done at a different place which charges on a flat rate per area. Its been a while but I think it was about $1,200 for a Brazilian. She can go back as many times as needed to complete the area. So if a year later she says I want one more session, she just goes. I just posted a close up pic with some stubble and will post the end result after I finish my last session. That is if the mods don't remove my pic before then.

I hope this information is useful to anyone interested. I know that this is the information that I was hoping to find here. And if the guys were wondering, the technician said that she is seeing almost as many guys as she is ladies getting Brazilians.
