Return to DiscussionsI've never gone on a trip like that with friends. I used to go on work-related trips. Five or six of us would go on a trip together. They always put us two to a room. With an odd number, someone got a room to himself, but that was the exception.
I always slept nude. I wasn't a nudist at that point, but I wasn't embarrassed about being seen by other men and I certainly wasn't going to wear clothing in bed.
I wasn't generally nude in the room. However, I would strip at my bed, put the clothing I had be wearing into a bag, walk nude to the bathroom, take a shower, and walk back to my bed nude. We pretty much didn't check into a room until we were ready to go to bed. Just enough time to take a shower, watch a few minutes of TV, and go to sleep.
Now that I'm a nudist, I would be more open and free about being nude in the room.I ware shorts but slip them off
What I described was traveling with people I had only just met when we began the trip. If I were traveling with friends, I wouldn't care at all.
I get twisted up in shorts if I try to sleep in them. Maybe something made of silk or satin that would slip and slide very easily would work.While nude is certainly best, just shorts is tolerable. Anything above the waist or below knees would make sleep impossible.
But if you're in bed and under the covers, what difference does it make if you're nude?

Good point. Difficult to say why I wasn't comfortable doing it.
