I've been shaving for years.I started because my wife loves the look. I've also found out that being smooth is cleaner and so much better when using lubes

Apr 7, 2023I use Nivea for Men as a moisturizer. It works well to keep the razor bumps and redness to a minimum. Moisturizing is a necessity if you shave your pubic area in the beginning. Once your skin becomes used to shaving, the moisturizer is not needed as much, if at all.

Apr 11, 2023Been shaving since I had to do it for a vasectomy 25 years ago. Just balls and dick basically, but I like the look and I like the feel and I like doing it;-p

Yup, same here. I am permanently (laser+electrolysis) hairless for most of the body. Feels great, especially being on the beach.

Jun 3, 2023
Lucky to have an understanding wife
Agree. When we first got together I would ask her every year or two if she still wanted me smooth, and the answer was always yes. I have stopped asking. Now, if I ask anything, it is about length of the surrounding hair. Whatever I do is fine with her. I let it grow out about three or four weeks and then use a beard trimmer it take it down to 1/8 inch.ReactReply - SU
Jan 3, 2024Wanted to do my body trim last evening but accidentally selected the #1 blade (3.0 mm) instead of the #3 blade (9.0 mm) and only realised when the volume I was removing was more than expected. I like the reduced volume of hair (overall) but am less amoured with the fact that the trimming is more obvious since the hairs don't overlap each other and tend to poke through my shirt. Maybe I should just epilate it all...
