I live a half hour from Blind Creek and get there almost every day. Unfortunately I'll be out of town then. How long will you be down?

I plan on being there this Saturday, March 16, set up at my usual spot on the north end by the observation tower. I will probably get there around 10am. Bit of advice, on a weekend with nice weather the parking lot will be full by about 11AM. so it is best to get there early.

Did you make it there? I got there around 10, stayed until about 1. The lot was already about 90% full. It was a beautiful day and the water was fairly calm compared to what it has been the past few months.

We did get to the beach, but it was later than I hoped and we didn't stay as long as I would have wanted. We had a late night and didn't get out of bed until around 11 AM. By the time we got dressed, had lunch, packed the car, missed a turn off, etc.... It was closer to 4 PM, maybe even later. We were coming up from the West Palm area which was about an hours drive. Next time we'll have to stay closer.
