  Marie is the manager and a nicer person would be hard to find. New pool and water was sparkling clear and refreshing. Only open Thursday through Sunday. $50 day pass for single male. Trails are nice with different routing/distance options. Tent sites seem to be a work in progress although they do have power. Didn’t try the enclosed hot tub but looked inviting for a cooler day/evening

  was a member there for years very laid back and rustic - the way i like it. most activities center around pool. awesome hiking trails. actually if daring while hiking you can go out the back gate and hike down powerline just don't get caught.

• First time at BARE

  This was my first visit to BARE, but even in the rain we had a great time and will be back soon. Will and Gloria are the nicest people and everyone there was friendly and courteous. Wish I lived closer, I would love to help with the renovations.

  I was there from Friday to Monday over the long Labor Day weekend, I had a fantastic time. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the place is really shaping up from when I`ve been told it used to be to me it was wonderful. They must have been doing a wonderful job restoring the resort because I had no complaints whatsoever.

  I have been to Bell Acres both as a Single Man and with girlfriends. It has been a few years since I was down there and I hope to return this summer. Much of the grounds and trails are as nature intended. They are not sculpted but beautiful natural walks in the woods, gorgeous Beaver Ponds and bogs. The little Cabins are cute and cozy, Pool and Hot tub are Sweet and they have ample room indoors when the weather isn`t cooperative, to have a great time.   I went as a single male, spouse did not go, and I was warmly welcomed. The couple who ran the place were so friendly and they kept me company over and above. The pool is BEAUTIFUL and the deck around it is great for lounging or for space. I loved swimming naked. Smoking and drinking is normal all over the camp and moderation is encouraged. Most of the visitors are couples and the camp is generally quiet.   Fairly clean, very nice people, well-kept pool. The "nature trail" is also pretty nice, although you have to be careful not to get lost at a couple points. overall a nice place to be, although it`s a bit small and out-of-the-way.
