Nude swimming is ok in the winter months from April to November. Its not officially a nudist beach so be aware of that fact. Popular with locals as well as holiday makers from the southern states and overseas.
Buchans Point Beach Directions
From Cairns travel north towards Ellis Beach.
Turn right into beach car park immediately after the Buchans Point suburb.
Walk SE along the beach to a large rocke embedded in the beach.
Nude bathing is condoned past this rock since the early 70's.
