Known formerly as The Lemurian Embassy, this magical 50 acres acres of nature trails, cabaas, camping, fire circle, stone swimming pool and gardens is completely private, off-grid, and LGBT-owned. We are Reef and Marcus, two warm-hearted crazy guys who love nature, living naked, sex-positivity and sharing with others who also value quiet space to reflect, meditate and get in touch with their inner core of Being. Chaknuul Retreat Directions
Driving from Merida, take the 180 Libre (free road) to Libre Union. Turn toward Yaxcaba and drive 8.5 KM. We are KM 8.5 on the road between Yaxcaba and Libre Union. There is also reliable bus service from Merida, Cancun, and Valladolid that goes right to Libre Union center. Once at the center, a taxi can be taken to KM 8.3 between Yaxcaba and Libre Union. You can also ask the taxi drivers to take you to Chaknuul.
