  • Excellent Resort

    5.00

My friend and I have visited Cypress Cove on two occasions. The first was just before the pandemic hit. We only spent the day there as visitors, but were able to enjoy a paddle boat out on the lake and soaking up some rays by the swimming pools. The staff were most welcoming and everywhere you went, people waved to you as if you were one of the residents. We made a return visit last November, and this time we stayed at the resort for four days. We were indoctrinated into pickleball, which neither of us had played. A wonderful gentleman we nicknamed "Coach Ron" took the time to give us a privat…

Pros: Convenient location to all tourist attractions. Friendly and helpful staff and residents. Room had been recently renovated and was quite comfortable. Lots of pickleball and tennis courts. Good food available at Cheeks.

Cons: Their "golf course" is pretty rudimentary, at best. If you are even remotely into golf, don't bother. Honestly the only knock on the place.

  • Best Father's Day ever - - naked and unashamed - - Great place

    5.00

Went for Father's Day... if the people at Disney only knew what a wonderful and magical place this is.... We stayed in villa 1105... highly recommend a stay... although it was quite crowded on SATURDAY already - so maybe don't spread the word or it will reach max capacity and we won't be able to get in.... GREAT pool - and they even have free paddle boards to use... The pickleball courts are top notch too.... room was excellent and very clean... love this place!! Great mix of people there during our visit - - every race, gender, size, and AGE.... was nice to see some younger folks - - maybe nu…

Pros: Clean - affordable - lots to do - friendly people - two pools - two hot tubs - - plenty of chairs to sun and plenty of places to find some shade from the 11+ UV index rays that hit FL in the summer!!

Cons: Food options kind of limited - -

  • Great Resort

    5.00

My wife and I just spent the Fourth of July weekend at Cypress Cove Resort and we loved it! Even though, due to Covid-19, the nice restaurant, Lakeside, was closed, and there was no live music, none of that spoiled our time there. The main pool area is very nice and everything is very convenient. Cheeks restaurant and bar is right next to the pool and Rose, who works the bar and takes food orders is awesome!!! We had a couples massage at Silver Lining Massage, again, right next to the pool and it was great to have a massage nude without needing to be covered with a sheet! Our room was very com…

Pros: Beautiful resort, excellent staff, good food.

Cons: Some of the resort closed due to Covid-19 (This is actually a good thing. It shows that they are taking it seriously unlike another resort we recently visited.)

  • My weekend at Cypress Cove Update

    5.00

So as I sit here in my chair making this post words can barely express how wonderful my time at Cypress Cove was. I have been home for about two hours and already want to return to my little tent on the lake. I had an almost spiritual experience sit on the pier this morning watching the sunrise over the lake. It will be life changing for me. I met new people who embrace this as a part of there life. To come home from work and be able to walk outside and be free to enjoy this world without the burden of clothes must be a wonderful feeling. Just the twenty four hours I had this weekend was enoug…

Pros: Great food, wonderful staff, great events, and amazing locations.

  • overall, amazing.

    4.00

So before we went, we happened to read a review I'm the forums (I think that is where it was), about how great cypress is, and they had just redone the beach. The reviewer was right the beach was really nice, however it rained daily while we were there. not enough to keep us indoors, but enough to cause most of the new sand to run into the lake, and nearly taking some lounge chairs with it. it also eroded enough sand away to damage the area around the fire pit. these are not faults though. the play was still amazing. the missing star has to do with the rooms and the bed specifically. while the…

Pros: grounds are well kept. boats appear well maintained. golf cart rental looked well managed. restaraunt on the lake was amazing, pools and hot tubes were clean and properly heated

Cons: beds, room smelled like mold/mildew. TV was burned in at the top.

  • Great place to enjoy a sunny day

    5.00

my first visit to CC. Had been to Lake Como which is nice. But Cypress Cove was always on my wish list; glad I finally made it. Lots to do, facilities were in great shape, two pools - one primarily for swimming and the other for lots of conversational groupings in the water. Food was good - too bad the main restaurant is open only for breakfast on Sunday but the bar was good. Gary and Anna were great at explaining the food choices.

Pros: Clean, very affordable, looks to have a large number of places to stay either in hard wall facilities or in your own travel trailer/RV or a tent.

Cons: Main restaurant closed except for breakfast on some of the days - would be nice to have more than just the bar food, as good as that was.

  • First time stay,,,life time memory..

    5.00

We cannot even begin to explain in a short paragraph or two , how much we enjoyed the stay at Cypress Cove. We arrived and were made welcome immediately... As we were dry camping. we were guided to a site overlooking the lake, and given free reign to camp wherever we wanted... for camping , having sun chairs.. picnic tables and BBQ grills already in place made the experience as easy as turning the key and checking into a room! Within minutes, camp was set up and we were enjoying the Florida sunshine . The pools,, hot tubs and restaurants , Cheeks and most importantly. the staff and other guest…

Pros: Staff that actually made you feel like family,,, super clean resort, tons of activities.. nightly entertainment!

Cons: cannot think of anything negative or lacking in this resort .. :)

  • Awesome place for first time visit

    5.00

This was our first time going to a nudist resort and we could not have picked a better place to go. It is hard to know where to start. The moment we got there, the level of service was amazing. Karen at the front desk made the check in process and tour of the facilities easy and fun. We showed up to our room and there was a small gift basket with a hand written card waiting for us. This was because when we made the reservations 6 months before, someone noted that we would be celebrating our anniversary. These small touches make a huge difference. The room was clean and comfortable. We chose no…

  • Parrothead Weekend

    5.00

Wife and I stay there several times a year we only live like 140 miles from there. This place is wonderful, grounds clean, staff friendly, restaurant and Cheeks bar are great and very reasonably priced. We go enough now 3-4 times a year that the staff recognizes us. We love to take our walks after dinner through the residences, go down and relax by the lake and I`ll have a cigar and beer. The people who live and work there are extremely friendly. The first time I brought my wife there she wanted to buy a place. This last stay in July was a bitter sweet stay. We brought one of our friends who w…

Pros: Everything NEVER had a problem and stayed at least 8 times

  • I`m on vacation

    4.00

It does not matter if I`m there for a weekend or just a couple hours. As soon as the clothes drop, I`m on vacation. The facilities are beautiful and it caters to a variety of nudist and naturist. You can camp, boat, lay by the pool or sit at the bar and watch a game.rrOh, and you can visit the spa for a massage.

    Pros: Friendly, fun, relaxing

Cons: a bit of a drive, but not bad

  • Large resort - Very Friendly - Lots to do

    5.00

The resort were very welcoming right from the front gate. The Lakeside Restaurant is open for Breakfast and Dinner and both were excellent. Some resort restaurants seem a little cheesy, this was not, it was like any restaurant you`d find anywhere else. One can rent lockers for $5/day, well worth it in my opinion, you can confidently lockup your car keys, cash and credit cards and wander off with nothing more than a towel and a smile. The Cheeks bar had pretty average food and below average beer, I passed on the food. Got to meet some of the regulars there tho so well worth a visit. Drink beer…

Pros: Friendly, office open until midnight. Common sense approach to cell phones

Cons: Poor beer at Cheeks poolside bar.

  • Surprise gift

    4.00

Wife booked a night here as a birthday present to me. Our first time to ever stay at a nude resort. Problem is.....now we are addicted. What a great time we had. Stayed 2 days and one night in the villas. Very clean, friendly staff and most everyone was friendly who we encountered. The BBQ at Cheeks was tasty and the breakfast in the restaurant was great too. We hated to leave. Check in could have been a little more informative as this being our first time there. But it worked out. Would like to have seen some staff around the pool areas watching over a few things though. Minor things that wou…

Pros: The ability to wake in the morning and start your day nude.

Cons: the fact that I can`t afford to live there.

  • Enjoyable 1st experience

    4.00

We decided to book a short stay at cypress cove during a holiday in Florida. We were very nervous as nudism is completely new to us both, having only been naked in public once before on a brief day trip to a nudist beach in Spain. We were made to feel comfortable immediately by the friendly security man at the gatehouse. The girl who then checked us in continued with the same friendly and helpful attitude and as we had been delayed and we were hungry and tired she gave us a shortened 1st visit tour. After a good nights sleep in the clean and comfortable room we headed to the pool at 12 for the…

Pros: friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, fantastic facilities, beautiful surroundings that are well maintained, lovely jacuzzi and pool areas and both pools are always warm, fantastic weekend atmosphere and entertainment.

Cons: not enough activities for younger people like ourselves especially when it rains, bathrooms in rooms need updating, `golf course` is a waste of time (should use space for a crazy/mini golf instead), lack of entertainment and atmosphere during the week.
