    On a fine sunny day this location can create its own micro climate. I went today and the temperature of Plymouth was 11c, yet when I got to this beach it was more like 18C. It was lovely and very comfortable to be naked in the spring sunshine. At low tide you can walk to the far beach and enjoy a long naked walk, just take not of the tide times, as you can get cut off. The far beach has a walk that can take you to the coastal path, it is steep and can be tricky. But it is an escape route that can save you from a long wait for the tide to recede.   • Great naturist beach

    Visited on August bank holiday Saturday 2017. Lovely day - this is a beautiful long beach and plenty of space to have peace and quiet, great place to be naked free and natural. I came down path from main road or if watch the tide times can walk from Downderry itself and can walk around to each bay safely. It has to be a favourite.
