It's secluded and subsequently quite a hike - especially on the return trip. There are no facilities so go prepared. Can be a little tricky under foot, so wear sturdy footwear. A barrier will be found at the beginning of the lane opposite the car park, and a log fence to negotiate half way along the ravine as you descend to the beach. The path has been subject to erosion in the past but was serviceable summer 2011.
Fairlight Cove Directions
Head east out of Hastings town centre along the A259 (Old London Road/Rye Road). Turn right onto Fairlight Road and head towards Hastings Country Park. Park in the carpark and on foot, cross the road, down the lane opposite for the 1 1/2 mile hike through Glen Wood to the beach. A sign marks the beach as FKK.
