• Love this Beach

  Have been going to Maui for years and seem to spend more and more of the time at little beach. Have never seen as much as a presence by the law, and it all runs smoothly. Great sand / water /People mix and atmosphere, all around paradise. Note the sun is behind the cinder cone till about 9am but gives it just you time to pick your spot. Sun hits the North end first Was there again a couple weeks ago just as beautiful as always..., Strip off / blend in / enjoy the day.

  Prós: It will never snow! open all year round...

  Contras: The sun always sets and you have to go home.

  For many years I`d spend spring and fall on Maui and at LB 4-5 times a week. By far the best, especially the people. Young, old, str8, gay, fit bodies, not so fit bodies, all feel welcome. There`s a str8 side, gay side and what I call the gray area in the middle. But all feel free to mix back and forth and socialize. Trails off to the side lead through a forest canopied by ironwood trees leading to a breathtaking cliff with incredible views. And you can travel the trails totally naked!

  Prós: Friendly non judgmental people, views, great water.

  Contras: Climbing over steep looking hill between textile and c/o beach, easier than looks though once you do it.

  I moved to Maui for a year and was at L/B 4 to 6 times a week. I love it there. The People you meet and thing to do. The water is great. There`s a swimming hole to the North that you walk along a path. Bring shoes. If the Trade Winds are blowing. the water is really ruff. But on clam days it`s breath taking. Many sea turtles.

  Prós: There`s any thing you want there. Sun, Fun and Bule water.

  Contras: It is what you make it. No cons

  Have enjoyed beach for last sveral years. Always me the nicest people. Young to old are always welcome. Clean and relaxing on week days. Sunday evening be prepared for the drum circle. And watch the sun go down. Lots of fun.
