    We stayed there a few years ago during the last week of the year. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, people, atmosphere and everything except for the New Years Eve party. The one and only New Years we spent there was a time when all they had was a DJ playing music videos. It was a small crowd and boring compared to what we had grown accustomed to on New Years. One of the local ladies told us that she usually goes do Lake Como for the early part of the night and then goes to Paradise Lakes. Therefore, at about midnight, we followed her to Paradise and the dance was much more lively. A strong point w…

  • First visit to Lake Como

    Last week had a very good experience going to Lake Como for the first time. The people were friendly, the room was clean and the food was good. Very reasonable pricing on everything with some entertainment to boot. I will be back!

    Prós: Friendly people and workers, Clean, Reasonable prices, and good food.

    My wife and I went there in September 2019 for the first time to celebrate out 41st anniversary. The entire 3 days were laid back. We rented a cabin for the stay. The staff was so nice and polite, from the front desk to the housekeepers. The other guests and locals were so friendly and accepting. It is so convenient to not have to leave the facility unless you wanted to. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature, the hot tub so relaxing and the restaurant available. The Butt Hutt bar has happy hour every day and there's a covered and screened deck for entertainment. It's also great to be ab…

    Prós: Restaurant on premise. Undress once there and not have to get dressed unless leaving the premises. Pool, hot tub, sports courts, kayaks to use

    My wife and I visited Lake Como this past week for the first time and stayed in one of their cabins for 4 days. We had a very nice time. It was the first time staying at a nudist resort for my wife and she was concerned about going. At other resorts we visited (only for a day) members would make her feel uncomfortable if she decided to wear clothes and not be nude the entire time we were there. But the people at Lake Como were very accepting when she would cover up. We swam several times every day and did go to the hot tub frequently so she had many opportunities to be nude, when it was approp…

    Contras: It is just so far from our home that we can`t visit as often as we`d like.

    Well I am afraid I am going to upset a couple folks here but.... My wife and I were in Florida for our Honeymoon Sept 2011 and decided to spend a weekend at Lake Como. I will start by saying that the staff was very nice, I have no complaints there.. But, we stayed in one of the rooms. The entire building was slanted. There were mouse feces covering the bathroom floor. The bed was so worn out I wanted to sleep in the car. The shower was nasty. There was a door leading to the other rooms bathroom (That was pleasant!). The pool was nice but the "award winning" was so nasty I still cant…

    I did visit Lake Como for the first time two weeks ago. The place is beautiful, the peoples and the employees are very welcoming and friendly. Great sport facilities for tennis, volleyball; professional grade installations. The views, the lake, the forest! For my personal interest it just misses a good fitness center. Feels like home! A good place to live permanently.
