From Montreal, take Freeway A15 Northbound, then change to Freeway A640 Westbound to the end, follow signs to Parc National d'Oka, use parking lot farthest from the Main Gates (easternmost parking lot), walk along the beach eastbound.From Ottawa, take Freeway 417 / A40 to Hudson, take the ferry to Oka, then follow above instructions.

A friend and I visited there in the summer of 2022. Nice sand, nice water. You can walk for a long time along the beach, so there's lots to explore. There is also a multi-purpose pathway in the woods (not far from the beach), which can come in handy if you are riding a bike there or have a wagon full of things to lug around. Definitely hoping to return there this summer. Be sure you enquire as to whether or not the snack bar will be open. If not, be sure to pack food.
Nachteile: Snack bar was closed on the day we were there.

Went to Oka beach today for the first time and I loved it!!! Great beach, great crowd and they even have a snack bar.

I wen`t to Oka a few years ago. It las late summer, so there was no many people, but I did like it a lot. Too bad I don`t have a car, I`d go more often otherwise.
Vorteile: Beautiful beach for being a river shore.
Nachteile: Too far from public transportation.

a day at the beach

oka was the first beach where we went nude. the park is very nice lots of activiries and good facalities.
Vorteile: the nude beach is well kept and enjoyed by many.
Nachteile: it is a good 10 -15 minute walk ..so hualing chairs and coolers can be a pain.
