    Jan and James are lovely hosts. They're been open for over 30 years and are good for some interesting chats, over the counter or a cuppa. Large spacious grass areas, where you can camp alone or in a group. No powered sites for visitors however if you need to recharge your phone, ask either the hosts or some of the locals with their own long term onsite accomodation, as they have power. The central entertainment area is where events and live bands are held (see their website for upcoming events, usually a bit quieter during colder months).     Avantages : Awesome entertainment area, with stage. BBQ/picnic areas, each under large pergolas. Nice amenties, including some outdoor showers. Walking tracks, birds and wildlife, creek swimminghole and beach area, large grass area suits ALL camp setups (buses etc.)

    Inconvénients : Mossies (mosquito) No powered sites for visitors.

    Had a great day being my first at an official place. Welcomed warmly and had a really nice relaxing time at the beach, wandering the walks and grounds and just laying about reading a book! Will definitely be coming back!

    Avantages : Clean ammenities. Relaxed atmosphere. Random outside showers to wash off after creek. Big shade area in centre. Friendly people. Great creek.

    Inconvénients : No pool.

  • Great Place to fully unwind

    I've been going here a few years now and I love the place and ambiance and the bird life, and large space to be alone and relax as well as all the social spaces to enjoy company. Jan and James are absolutely terrific people and I consider them friends. I also the patrons who go are excellent fun loving people. I just wish this place had a pool, as the beach (creek) water I wont get in - skittish like that! LOL

    Inconvénients : No pool :(
