  I stopped by on my way to somewhere else. Since I only had two hours, it was a quick stop. As always, the hot tub was clean, as were all the facilities. I had the hot tub to myself for the whole time as it was a cool Friday between 11:15 am and 1:30 pm. I only encountered 3 people - one woman who was doing some cleaning or other maintenance, one man in a huge motor home who greeted me warmly when I knocked on his door (I thought he might have been someone I had met there years earlier), and one man in a pickup who stopped just to see if I needed anything.   Avantages : Inexpensive day use fee; clean facilities; people have always been friendly; hot tub was great. If the office is closed, you can self-register.

  Inconvénients : Hot tub is not very hot. I hope someday they will be able to build a real lodge as they only have a large tent they put up for the summer, so in the winter there`s no place to congregate (that I know of).

  It may seem because I have given negative reviews of some of the other local clubs that I am a negative person. LARC is everything the other clubs are not. For one thing it has private ownership and so many of the problems with group membership are avoided by a clear responsible ownership couple. Everyone, singles, married, religious, non religious, any sexual preference is welcome and so it is a happy club. It has no water feature, but plans are for the near future, they have RV lots and that is where lots of the activities take place, take a walk around the circle and you likely will get inv…

  Avantages : Everything is good esp the people

  Inconvénients : People tend to socialize on their rv lots, so walking around the circle to meet people is a good approach
