Been hitting the bay side of the beach and enjoying some private sunbathing. I get to the end of Padre Blvd, park, then hike the mile or two until I'm sure I'm out view from anyone else. If it gets too hot, it's only a small hike to the beach.
I have yet to encounter any gawkers, but I have met others who were out hiking or walking their dogs and were INCREDIBLY respectful of my privacy when they saw I was out there trying to have a moment of "alone" time. I've also met a few fellow sunbathers (men and women) who also make the little hike.
