Werdinsel
4.00Nice setting, lots of trees and the river is accessible to swim in. Cruising does sometimes happen, but seems to be a lot less frequent compared to last year. On weekends there are often a lot of people in bathing suits, so I'd say it's more "clothing optional", but the majority of people are naked, at least while sun bathing.

Nothing fancy
3.00Nothing fancy about this place, and it's quite invaded by clothes people.
Pros: Only clothing optional place near Zürich
Cons: Clothing optional, rather than naturist. The river is nearby, but it's prohibited to go there naked. Several guys use the surroundings for hookups.

More and more naturist are coming
3.00Just stayed there last weekend and a lot of sunbathers go swimming naked. Pay attention: no car parking, use public transport or drive near by and walk. I used my inline skates :-). A great place for picknicking and BBQ.
Pros: diversity, a lot of naturists go there
Cons: yep - can be crowded on weekends

Great place, but I would avoid weekends
3.00The place is totally beautiful in the city of Zurich, which is quite convenient (public transportation, etc.). Usually there`s a healthy mix of clothed and naked people (mostly gay, but not only), but it seems that on weekends with nice weather that much more clothed people are there, so that some naked people feeling in minority put their swimming trunks back on. Also some people sunbath naked, but walk and go in the water with bathing suit.
Pros: Great location, swimming in the river
Cons: Clothed people sometimes take over
