The lake is clean and great for that feeling if swimming nude! Everyone's always been friendly whenever ive been able to go. Wish that I could get out there more often

Although rustic in nature, Gaea is a wonderful place to attend a naturist gathering, Be prepared for hiking, as half of the camp is located on a bluff that is up 75 step wooden steps.
Pros: Naturist friendly.
Cons: "Rustic" facilities.

Have been many times. You can interact with others or get off by yourself depending on what you want. They have RV electric hookups although it's all gravel so not like an RV campground. Unlimited places for tents, very rustic cabins, a clothing optional beach and all for cheap!
Pros: Freedom to be yourself
Cons: Steps between levels

I've been to Gaea quite a few times since becoming a naturist. The day fees are very reasonable. The people are friendly - and almost always naked. The place is naturally beautiful and well kept. The showers are an absolute must. It's almost exactly what the Garden of Eden would be like. It's about 45 minutes from Kansas City, close to Leavenworth. Go to gaearetreat.org for more info.
Pros: Inexpensive; peaceful; spiritual
Cons: Quite remote; you have to be dressed in certain areas (i.e. near the entrance) but they do allow topfreedom everywhere
