After Labor Day
3.00We visited after Labor Day in late September so well give them a pass on the fact that other than ourselves, there was only a three day visitors and one over night person. An overall closed feel to he place. We stayed in one of the duplex cabins. It was small and old. The housekeeping was fine; linen and towels were clean but the carpeted floors were nasty! Carpet in the bathroom........ Ugg. Did Not want to take my shoes off. BUT! Very, very friendly people and we did enjoy our stay so will return but next time with the RV.
Pros: Rustic and friendly
Cons: Facilities not kept up.

Very relaxing visit
5.00Facilities are obviously well cared for. The pool was warm and very relaxing, hot tub is very nice. I rented an upstairs room in the lodge. The bed was a bit older, but I slept well. Staff and other guests were very friendly. This is the third resort I have visited. I have been to Drakes Ridge in Indiana, Rock Haven in Tennessee and Cherokee Lodge. Of the three, Cherokee Lodge is far and above the very best of the three. I highly recommend it.
Pros: The resort is located in a rustic area, lots of trees and hiking trails
Cons: None

Sooo relaxing
5.00Cherokee can be whatever you want it to be. If you want quiet, serene time alone or if you want to hook up with some great folks and enjoy all kinds of fun, Cherokee is the place to be. Depending on the time of year and day of the week, you`ll find what you`re looking for. Danny and Donna are great folks and love what they do.
Pros: Awesome surroundings, Great lodge for gatherings, Very friendly Management Team, Nice pool and hot tub
Cons: 2 hours from me, Needs more exposure

Definitely worth the drive
5.00A great place to get away from civilization, noise, and the pressure of life. Gorgeous, rustic setting in the woods with lots of great trails, and with so much acreage, you don`t feel cramped. The folks are always great to be around, too.
Pros: Everything
Cons: A bit of a drive

3.00Latest Information (Special thanks to JimKnoxville) I just spoke with office staff at the resort via phone. Cherokee Lodge is closed for the winter. When they open again next spring they will be a textile campground with the focus of business on church retreats, etc. They have left the nudist lifestyle behind. It will no longer be a nudist venue. Staff did say to check back with them in the spring, but I think that was only because I expressed an interest to come visit and I am well known to the staff. So, another nudist venue bites the dust. Sad to see. Thanks Jerry By the way, I thought I`d…
Pros: Nice Grounds
Cons: Closed
