    Decided to write a review now, just 8 years since my inspirational hike there. I love this area of the Central Coast for the solitude one can find on such an expansive stretch of coastline with a moderate amount of effort to get there. I usually hike during the week to avoid crowds and this day was no exception. Mid-week, 80 degrees, light breeze, plenty of glorious California sunshine to be had. 2.5 miles in the sand is no joke, and the true effect is felt for the next few days in the legs. I arrived in the early morning (8am) to beat any crowds and the heat. I timed the hike to make Mussel P…
