  My wife and I visited the beach. It was overrun by men being explicitly sexual. 90% gay men. Lots of men leering, Loud music, lots of alcohol. No children, not family friendly.

  Vorteile: Nude, Warm.

  Nachteile: No Gatekeeping

  Loved it! The water was beautiful aside from some natural brown seaweed that one had to wade through to get into the water. No one bothered you. It was very peaceful and relaxing.

  Vorteile: Very relaxing and peaceful.

  I grew up in Miami and the beach that my parents took us to was Haulover and that was June of 1956. I have probably been there more than a 1000 times until I was sent to Vietnam, and when I came back I was a little surprised that it became a clothing optional beach. After I came home from Nam in Dec 1969 went back to college then with a friend moved to Michigan. Got jobs and 2 years later got transferred to Illinois. My parents still lived in Miami.   I have been to this beach several times and the last time was in April 2022. I always liked the beach for its cleanliness and beautiful houses for lifeguards. Nudists there are many different sexes. I advise everyone to visit this nudist beach.

  Vorteile: Warm water and deep bay

  Love this Beach, It was actually the first beach i was nude at back in 1998, People very nice and I remember a man who would give massages and was part of a group to keep the beach nude since some of the condo people were somewhat against it..but then they would love walking that part of the beach. I go there anytime I am in Florida,,,many nice people who you can talk to. Funny I did not realize it but we walked past the area where you need a suit on, but people didn’t seem to mind, we noticed and turned back.. It surprises me on how many people from clothed area love to walk the nude area… Ha…

  Vorteile: Very clean, nice group of people both Gay and Straight. Food truck, bathrooms close by, volleyball, parking lot close. Lots of space.

  Nachteile: Only 2 issues, There can be day’s that jelly fish are in area so no swimming even though some people chance it, parking fee has gone up, almost double. But then I am comparing it to the late 90’s. So not that bad..

  Was great to visit this iconic beach on a beautiful February Day. Plenty of space for all too be comfortable. Wide and long. I made many beach newbie mistakes (not nudist specific), so I learned a lot from the experience and look forward to visiting again better prepared.

  Vorteile: Lots of space. Outside shower within the nude area. Lots of parking it seemed to me. Easy access. Lifeguards on duty.

  Nachteile: Pervert element, unfortunately. Gawkers and uncomfortable onlookers.

  Been there many times. Wish people could understand how innocent this place is. Took me about 5 minutes to understand how how innocuous - not perverse, not sexualized. Changed my perspective about naturism and my view of myself physically. There are a few lurkers. A few wacky people who view this as their stage to act out.

  Love this beach. Diversified, friendly crowd. People of various ages, races, nationalities, body types. You feel comfortable here.

  Vorteile: White sand and warm water that is usually calm. Diversified crowd. Parking is cheap ($6-7) and short walk to the beach. Snack truck. Chair and umbrella rental.

  Nachteile: Chair rental pricey ($11). Too many clothed gawkers pass through seeking cheap thrill.

  I was down in that area working and went to Haulover several times. It was my first experience at a nude beach. I really enjoyed it. It was nice that it was just a really relaxed atmosphere. I hope to get back there sometime.

  Vorteile: Being naked in the sunshine, doesn`t get much better than that.

  They call it "Haulover" due to the world-famous rip tides there. If caught in a riptide, swim parallel to the shore to come in, otherwise I`ll have to save you, like when I saved the life of this one nude girl. As far as I know, it is the world`s largest Public nude beach - in other words anyone can go there. The 1st time I went was when I was in college, 1997-ish, went nude for the first time. Wow, it was great. Ever since then I go as often as I can. There are a lot of nice folks there, but also some not-so-nice ones too. There`s a large Gay section, and a large Couples/Swinger sec…

  Vorteile: on beach shower, concession stand, chair / umbrella rental, seasonal spray-on tan, restrooms close by, huge beach, 5 lifeguard stands, cheap parking, overnight camping allowed for RV`s in the parking lot

  Nachteile: perverts hiding in the bushes, ocassional open sex show, riptides - if caught in one swim parallel to the shore to come in
