What was once a wonderful nude beach can no longer be recommended. As of this season, the Corpo Forrestale (Environmental Police) are enforcing a ban on nudity, calling it public indecency - this had been a nude beach for 40 years without complaints from the public! And, numerous Italian courts have upheld the citizens right to be nude in public if there is no true indecency. If you are caught, and they DO patrol the area, you will be fined and threatened with being handcuffed!
