• Great Community, Reasonable Prices

  I've been four or five times now, and I love Star Ranch! Holiday weekends are always packed with games and tournaments, and the people there are so friendly. You will be welcomed to join in the games, and probably offered a Jell-o shot or two. Every holiday weekend I've been, I have seen at least two families with children, and the community does a good job looking out for them. There are usually a few dozen folks hanging out by the pool, eating breakfast from the Nekkid Parrot, playing water volleyball, or dancing to the DJ in the evening.   Pros: Safety: every visitor must pass a background check. Friendly: staff and residents are very friendly and welcoming. Amenities: great for camping, pool (with water volleyball) is center of community. Grounds: rustic, with plenty of room to wander & pond

  I stayed in room 2 at Star Ranch from December 17th through December 19th, 2019. A wonderful group of people - Very Friendly and helpful. I will be going back in April to the Hot Dog Social and some great outdoor Pool Time. They have a wonderful indoor pool and Hot Tub.

  Pros: Rustic, Nice indoor Pool and Hot Tub. Great people.

  First time out the resort for the last of the nudist 5K series. And my first venture for nudist camping. Had a great time. Randall in Dallas

  Pros: Well staffed. Great facilities - main lodge and new pool area (though to cold to swim in October).

  Cons: A little streamline planning for the website registrations and costs for a visit, an overnight /camp site and / or run. Several options combined and totaled at 5K race check in streamline the wait and no back tracking and expedite procedures.

  Been there twice now and great times both times. Camping spots are nice with nice wooden picnic tables. Indoor pool was nice to use. Outdoor pool water was still to cold for me. Nice Saturday and Sunday breakfast for a great price. The locals where all very friendly. I just wish Star Ranch was closer to me. 4 hour trip but will be back on long weekends.

  Pros: Pools and friendly people

  Cons: Roads going into the resort. They where narrow and dirt. But well worth the drive.
