  I have never seen any of the negative things people have mentioned here and I've been here several times over the years, both as a single guy and as part of a couple (and an interracial one so not problem there like the other poster said). The members were very welcoming and friendly the place is small but kept pretty immaculately especially the pool area. never got a hint of any sexuality or leering like other posters have mentioned. my first time there I was invited to have a beer with some members I met but there was no over the top drinking, and no drug use so didn't see that problem eithe…

  Pros: the members really seemed to have a great sense of community that I felt even as a visitor, it really felt like it is a special place. the pool is amazing

  Went for a day by myself at sandy terrace, staff were friendly, people were very nice, pleasant facility, very welcoming to new nudists, or lifelong, as a recent nudist going to gayhead beach awuinnah Martha's vineyard, it's nice to be able to go to Marston mills instead of wareham, easy to drive to

  Not sure about previous poster talking about gay men cruising beach and sauna??? never asked anyone if there gay but definitely some single guys there. I like the beach because it is quite place to reflect and have spent a good amount of time there during my previous two visits. It is quite and no-one around; no-one hit on me or asked for sexual quickies??? The people treat day visitors like a necessary evil. I tried talking to them but most keep pretty much to themselves with one couple that just gives day visitors dirty looks at the pool. They need to be reminded the revenue helps them maint…

  Pros: Quite trails for walking and getting great exercise. It isn't long but you can do laps to the lake and back up through the woods.

  Cons: Not the most welcoming residents who are mostly 60+. Unlike other posters, I don't care how old they are or what they look like, I just want to talk to nice people when visiting.

  I just came back from Sandy Terraces and being my first ever nudist resort visit, it wasn`t too bad. People were generally very nice. I wish there was something else to do other than sitting near the pool. It is not a negative comment but I was expecting people doing different things like playing tennis, volley ball etc. Hopefully I can make some friends and can drag some to do stuff.

  First off it is illegal to ask people if they are gay! when something has gone on inappropriately it has been dealt with and those people are put on a do not admit list. I have been a member at STA for 10 yrs and am around everyday or evening. I have never seen a Prince Albert piercing there are piercings of scrotum`s and the shafts on some of the visitors and members as well as many ladies with nipple and vaginal area piercings. If anyone see something inappropriate it should be brought to a members attention at it will be dealt with.

  Girl friend and I visited over the Summer 2012. The ratio of couples to men around the pool is out of control. Many men by themselves just looking at the women in a degrading way. Some even touching themselves. The deck on the lake and the sauna within are a haven for the gay man visiting there looking for a trick. Not unusual to see penis rings or price alberts (penis piercing).

  Pros: The olympic size pool is imaculate as are the rest rooms and showers by the pool.

  Cons: The attitude by management to let in as many single gay, heterosexual men is purely a means to generate revenue. Management should make the place more couple friendly and put the emphasis on couples and families only.
