I am a newbie and had only been to one other resort (one time) before visiting Hidden Lake, My visit was the Wednesday after Memorial Day, so there were not many people there. Actually no other visitors when I first arrived but several arrived later I enjoyed the nature trail and hanging out by the "Blue Lagoon". The people were nice and friendly, and understanding that I am such a newbie. I hope to visit again soon. The only real downside for me is the travel time - just shy of two hours. But, it was worth it.

Pros: nature trails, lake, lagoon, nice people
