  Apparently married men who go there without their spouse are a dangerous animal. My wife is gone for a couple of weeks and I thought I would check out Sunshower for a nice way to spend a sunny summer Saturday. Lots of people on site since it is July 5. I went into the office and asked about a day pass. The Gatekeeper woman in the office had other ideas when I said I was married but my wife couldn’t be with me she threw me out. Well, verbally anyway - “no exceptions, you must leave!” So, guys, either lie and say you are not married, pick up a temporary wife for the day, or forget about getting…

  Pros: Lots of people around, mostly older; the pool which i did not get to enjoy looked nice.

  Cons: Too restrictive for entry - I have been to nude places all around the world (retired military) literally from Australia to Austria and never had any issues being by myself. Too bad for Sunshower, it looks like it would have been a nice day….

• Our First Overnighter

  This past couple evenings was our first overnight stay at a Nudist Resort. We were a little apprehensive, but the folks here (management and guests) made us feel right at home. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and met all our needs. It didn't have running water, but the restroom was just up the path. Also, right next to the cabin was the pool, which is just spectacular. It was very well maintained. The 8 foot deep end was excellent for swimming. The one little mentioned feature of the club is the trails. They were a little challenging getting in and out of, but once on the forest floor it…

  Pros: Very clean and maintained. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Pool is an obvious plus, but the trails are a nice hidden gem.

  Cons: Very quiet during the week, but for us that was a plus.

  We visited during our summer vacation track. They are very very adamant about everyone being nude - completely nude - all the time. Don't even think they might be clothing optional... a bit over the top on that point! Other than that place is big, pool is terrific, and people are friendly! Other kind of creepy part is how owner's site is right next to bath house and you feel like you are being watched - especially in outside shower which is practically located on owner's outside porch/deck area. • Pleasant location, lots of rules

  Sunshower is a pleasant enough location, with a large pool. The atmosphere is lively at weekends, during the week it is quiet with a decidedly older crowd. There are lots of rules, not all of which are very well explained, and it's easy to fall foul of folks who seem to be in authority in a get-off-my-lawn kinda way, which can be uncomfortable. And don't even think of visiting if you are a single male.

  Pros: Well-established club, large pool.

  Cons: Lots of rules. lack of shade around pool.

• Fun Place

  I can't say enough good things about this place. A bunch of fun loving people that know how to have a good time. The grounds and building are very well maintained. The club is well off the road and I feel very safe once the gate closes behind me. They maintain excellent relations with their neighbors, which makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. The hiking trails are fantastic!

  Pros: Fun loving people. Lots to do (pickle ball, pool, volleyball, dirty bird, etc). An excellent area to a take a nude walk and enjoy the day.

  Cons: The place has been around for a while. The roads and lots were laid out when nobody dreamed of how big RVs were going to get and things can get kind of tight. They have spots for larger rigs, so be sure to tell them if this applies to you.

• Beautifully peaceful Sunshower

  Even though Sunshower is over two hours away from my home (I live west of Bloomington, Indiana), it is my favorite place to go to get some much needed nude sunning. The sweet folks at check-in remember me each time I come back, and I've not been there very often, but they still remember. Most of the times I try to go when my Ohio friends (the Dayton Warm Breezes group) are going to be there also, but I have visited alone just to find that wonderful peace in my life on a Saturday afternoon.   I camped out the night before the Bucket List 5k a few weeks ago, August 2015. The facility is nice and clean situated on a private wooded area. A typical campground with clean bathrooms, a large pool and various outdoor activities. There are many people that have campers and seem to be regulars. I was given a nice area to set up my tent in the `pines`. It was under tall mature trees and centrally located. rrIn general there seems to be a click of regulars, but everyone was very nice and friendly. • Nice, Clean Facility but Not Socially Friendly to Newbie`s

  We finally had the chance to make it down to Sunshower for a brief visit on Saturday. The faculty is very well-maintained and clean. The check-in was friendly and easy and the prices are fair. I think that this would be a great place to socialize with other nudist friends as long as you bring those friends along with you. My husband and I spent about an hour loafing in and around the pool and not one person said “hi” or tried to speak to us. • Great place to visit and to join

  We are members, have a trailer and go most every weekend. We thoroughly enjoy the people and the facilities. The club tries very hard to have activities throughout the year. rWe have made friends of very nice helpful people. Most people would enjoy. Please visit !🌞

• Great Place to Relax

  We first came to SCC about six years ago as a first visit to a nudist resort. We now go almost weekly and are members with a trailer on a lot. Our experience has always been "spend a weekend and you feel like you have been away for a month." BTW the picture on this page is not one of SCC, go to http://sunshower.com for more pics.

  Pros: Activities from just sunbathing, to hiking an old forest, to badminton, to mini-ten, to petanque, to shuffleboard. It`s your call.

  Cons: Dumpster and gravel placed along entrance road.

  What a nice place! The showers and bathrooms were hospital clean, the grounds is well maintained along with a spotless, roomy but cozy clubhouse. 15 minuets after we had the camper set up their was a knock on the door. One of the members came to invite and take us to a campfire party. We were greeted by a great bunch of fun loving people that couldn`t be more welcoming. Its late in the season so the pool is to cold to swim but it looks really nice. Not a lot of visitors as its late in the season but the members certainly keeps the fun rolling. We certainly made some new friends.

  Pros: clean and well maintained facility, staff, members, nice pool & clubhouse
