• What a GEM to the nudist community

  We absolutely loved TLR. We stayed in the lodge... it was fourth of July weekend following actual 4th. The place was packed... while on our welcome tour we were told about their firework show that was coming Saturday evening. OMG - that show was amazing and more spectacular than Disney or our own home town's celebration! TLR is a place you must see in your lifetime... it must truly be experienced to completely understand...

  Avantages : 2 pools - great hot tub... friendly folks... good food... huge location and really nice... used to be a textile place -now taken over and owned by the nudist world!

  Inconvénients : Close indoor pool and hot tub at 10... really are we all little kids that need our sleep??

  this is not advertised on their website, but they will turn you away without hesitation if you're a single guy. Past history, and AANR membership is irrelevant. It's not 'personal' just their new policy.

  Avantages : TL is really an awesome place

  Turtle Lake is great around the holiday weekends. They have is a really good fireworks show for the 4th of July. One year I was there a few extra days around the 4th of July and was naked for 5-days. I was very comfortable and almost “forgot” I was naked. There is a great rec-house that is large and must measure over 10,000 sf. It has a dance area, large seating area separate TV room with fireplace, 2 locker rooms with modern bathroom facilities, an indoor pool and hot-tub. They have indoor parties or out-door parties depending on the weather. They are very good about maintenance and gener…

• The Best Resort. A must Visit

  The staff is great. They will help you in anyway. The members are some of the most friendly I have encountered. The new out door pool is REALLY NICE!!!! The grounds are is great shape. The resort is really big, and there is plenty to do. I have never been to a resort (and I have been to a lot) that has the feel of a four star resort, yet is rustic like a normal campground. It is not "back in the woods," yet it is not a concrete paradise. Turtle Lake Resort is the perfect camp!

  Avantages : friendly, lots of activities, new outdoor pool, indoor pool, CLEAN, well maintained, easy to find, game nights, comedy nights, dances every weekend, musicfest, just GREAT

  Inconvénients : so nice that every time I`m there, I don`t want to leave.

• Wonderful Place

  We spent a winter weekend there. The Clubhouse is very roomy with the feature of a large indoor pool and Hot tub really sets it apart from other resorts we have visited. The room we rented was comfortable and even had Dish. We were given a phone number of staff should we need anything at all. The "Lodge" has a work out room, spacious area to relax and enjoy conversation with friends. The property is well maintained and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A great experience, you cant go wrong visiting this resort.

  Avantages : Clean, well maintained, friendly staff, spacious, nice room rentals, Pools, Lakes, Scenic outdoors

• My first nudist adventure!

  This was my first experience with social nudism. I spent the first bit of it clothed on a golf cart tour with a guide, who was naked. Afterwards I moved my car and went to the clubhouse to strip down. I was worried that I would feel odd or uncomfortable, but it was all very natural feeling. I stayed naked the whole time and I made sure to play the disc golf course, one of my favorite things to do. That was a little tricky because of some storm damage, but I will do much better on my next visit.

  Avantages : Disc golf, swimming, beach, clubhouse, and fishing!

  Inconvénients : More hiking would be awesome! The trail was rather short.

  It was my first time in a nudist resort, and I felt at home right away. Spent first 20 minutes on a guided tour through the installations with a fully clothed guide. Everyone was very kind and respectful and had a great time !!. My favorite place was the jacuzzi and the feeling of the warm water bubling on my skin.

  Avantages : instalaltions - private beach - indoor jazuzzi - mini golf

  Inconvénients : in winter time you have to go outside to get sth to eat.

• Guiness Skinny Dip

  Lots of space to roam and you can choose from the beach, jacuzzi, outdoor pool and indoor pool as long as it`s not water volleyball time. Place was clean and the staff was friendly. Can`t wait to go back. Didn`t feel out of place as a single male. Was a really big crowd there due to the Guiness Record Skinny Dip that day.

  Avantages : Low Cost(special the day I went)

  Inconvénients : Not next door to me, no dining options for dinner
