I've probably practiced nudism and naturism as long as I've lived. The problem for me being that I've never met any like minded individuals, and anyone who has seen me nude in my life have always taken offence at it. I never knew the UK had naturist sites and beaches etc, I thought they were all abroad. I've lived a very sheltered life style with nobody really understanding my outlook on life.
