Hello! I'm Gman, and I live in Payson, Arizona! It's been a while since I've updated my profile, so I thought I'd share a little about myself and my journey into social nudism. I began exploring the idea of making naked friends in early 2025, not entirely sure what to expect. To my encouragement, I met a few like-minded individuals and enjoyed naked hikes, a visit to a nudist resort, and some casual nude hangouts. My interest in social nudism began as a way to normalize being "as I am" in the company of others. And yes, by that I mean naked, without cloak or cover, fear, shame, or inhibition. Growing up as a "grower," I developed insecurities about my body, particularly regarding size and appearance. Being raised in a restrictive religious household, where nudity was considered taboo and generally associated with sexuality, certainly didn't help. Yet I always enjoyed being naked. I remember having the house to myself growing up and taking those opportunities to simply exist in the comfort of my natural state. Fast-forward to age 50, and I reached a point where I was tired of defending that irrational, ego-driven fear of "What will they think of me?" Especially when it came to the vulnerability of being seen. So I decided to do something about it. I began exploring social nudism as a form of therapeutic exposure, nervous-system regulation, and a little egoic dissolution. And you know what? It worked! Through some good people I met here on True Nudists, I discovered something wonderfully ordinary: the ability to hang out, enjoy one another's company, and experience being naked around others without it needing to mean anything more than that. No performance. No judgment. No expectations. Just people being people, comfortable in their own skin.
