- Just getting familiar with site functions and features... Just added some new photos available to "certified members". I understand being shy, it's not easy to "show yourself as you are", it's much easier to lurk from the shadows or through lense of fantasy. However, this is a nudist site, and I'm here to make friends with people that are willing to move past shame and learn to accept their body with positivity. My name is Gman.
Of course that's not my real name, but it'll have to do for now until I can rest assured, you are not indeed, an imperial spy ;-) .
Okay, well, where to begin?
I think of my-self as being more of a closet-nudist most my life.
I wasn't raised in a nudist environment where nudity wasn't considered to be shameful; but from as young as I can remember, being-naked was my favorite thing to be; so I'd sneak off to find places to do that when I thought no one was watching.
As I grew older this secret habit didn't change, it grew with me.
Soon I was exploring the great outdoors, driving out to secluded remote spots, stripping down to my boots to hike the hills, where I couldn't be seen.
Then of course came life, marriage(s), a child, you know the story, priorities change and 'free-time' gets challenged... But the desire to be free in my skin never died.
My interest in social-nudism began shortly after a kind of existential 'realization', though some might call it a mid-life crisis.
From my view it felt more like a cross between a spiritual-awakening and egoic-dissolution, but what do I know? I've never been a middle-aged man before ;-) .
In any case, I can name it now... I was sent on a quest, a quest to uncover my "authentic-self". Obviously there's alot to unpack to this story lol... But inner-child reclamation has been a part of my journey, To embody the boy that wasn't ashamed to be seen, and set him free.
Everyone has there own ideas of what nudity and social-nudity means to them... For me, it simply means freedom of being, without perfomance.
Sure, I too prefer to be naked when I have sex, but my interest in 'social-nudity' has nothing to do with sex or sexuality (Like how I slipped that part in?)... It's about stripping off all of all the layers of egoic-textiles, and simply "being as I am", in the company of others, without any pretence or cover.
I do not accept friend requests from uncertified-members, and generally don't accept friend requests without at least a chat first. Imperial spies are real ;-).
I value my privacy in the textile world, but I do have a profile picture of my face posted for "certified friends"... And another more body centric image with less of my face visible available to certified members.
