About legerdemain

I got started as a young teen during the summer of Woodstock. I saw the photos of people enjoying themselves naked and wanted to check it out for myself. I found a secluded sunny spot on our property and took off my clothes and I was instantly hooked. A couple of years later I discovered skinnydipping and never looked back.

I'm often nude at home, depending on the weather and what's going on with my day. I enjoy low-key, no-agenda nude socializing online and at swimming spots, hot springs and spas.

From the start I was pretty comfortable being nude socially, although I find myself feeling more self-conscious now that I'm older. Definitely something to work on. Recently I got back into yoga and now understand why nude is the best way to do it.

I'm more interested in the actual experience of being nude by myself and with others than I am in nudism as a "lifestyle," ideology or set of rules or labels. For me, it's not about going to resorts or belonging to an exclusive club or trying to achieve a clothes-free utopia, but about nudity as an ordinary part of a healthy, happy life.

It's all over the map and it changes every day, but I always have room for Motown, old-school R&B, gospel, EWF, Aretha, Joni, early Elton, Neil, Linda, CSN, JT, Jackson Browne, Beatles, Talking Heads and Steely Dan. I like to sing along.
