Who I'd like to meet
Someone who appreciates good company, intelligence, kindness and is emotionally-stable and dedicated to others, not self-serving or materialistic. By "others", I include all sentient beings. I don't want much, do I? Oh, yes, and he must have a good sense of humor, the kind that bears with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
My Interests
I enjoy intellectual discussion, how things work, how people "work", better understanding of reality. Exploration of experience, such as encounters with aliens, near-death experiences, insights into reality, natural systems; recipes (food, cooking, nutrition); quilt-making (patterns, techniques, also embroidery); duplicate bridge - I'd love to have a serious partner, be able to play regularly. I cannot at this time walk/hike distances. I have an infection in my spine for which I am seeking treatment; it is very difficult to get this here in the US at this time. So I could not enjoy a hike and carry weight or endure sleeping on the ground, as in camping, nor do any rigorous exercise such as sailing or bicycling. Maybe later, or maybe never.

Music
Eclectic, but don't care for cacophony, acid rock, heavy metal. I love Kirtana, the singer, not the category. Other favorites: John Prine, light jazz, folk, bluegrass, classical, pop, country...insturmental: flute, pipes, drums, strings, guitar, electronic, new age...
