AANR group photos
Return to DiscussionsI am an AANR-Florida board director. Looking through the photo here, i'm going to buzz kill some of them. As nudists, we all know everyone have genitals. But photos where the genitals are featured especially or women with open legs to the camera is not exactly AANR in spirit. I would suggest AANR members who believe in the spirit and intent of Social nudism refrain from that sort of exhibitionism. And we here in this group should set the example for others who join this group. I would hope the owner or admin of this group would purge out un suitable photos out of this group. We cannot control the other groups, but we should set the example for uplifting, beautiful nudist photos in this group. I welcome discussion.
I certainly agree! I find it hard to be comfortable interacting in a group/blog/etc. that has gratuitous photos (and comments/themes) featured. I hope moderators will be more proactive and assertive in eliminating photos that are not consistent with AANR ideals.

Glad to see this issue raised in this group. Because it is is critical especially now as more and more people seem to think nudism is a sexual activity or precursor.
Its a shame that you only took umbrage at photos depicting close up views especially or (sic) woman with legs open to the camera of vaginas but forgot to mention the plethora (and yes, Im using this word correctly) of men with their legs wide open to allow for penis closeups.
I do appreciate and understand that your overall message was that photos should be more about the person and not an individual part of the body. But I find that there is often a double standard used toward women and if we want more women to enjoy the benefits of naturism then be have to make sure there is a level playing field for all participants.

I agree with your views on genito-centric photos. I would also like to bring up the number of members who have NO photos, not even a profile picture?!! I'm sorry but isn't this the antithesis of what this group is about? We are here to promote and normalize nudity in the eyes of the clothed world, and our members, for whatever reason are not sharing a pic of themselves naked??
You can always not show your face if you fear you might be recognized... a nice shot from the back, or wearing a hat and a mask with sunglasses...very difficult to tell who you are.
Aren't AANR members usually proud of the organization and of their lifestyle? When I look at this group I don't see pride, I see some of these members who are ashamed of who they are or what they look like or sneaking around, hiding. This is the opposite of the AANR and I think that members that don't have pics should be purged from the group. Or be given a warning... if you don't have pics on your profile here by June 1 your profile will be removed. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way... am I ???
