Also…I am deaf. When I was 16, I got a bad infection in my ears from swimming in the ocean at Wildwood NJ and spent almost the entire summer in the hospital. Since then i have learned to sign and I can read lips and my speech was not affected at all. Actually I have some hearing in my left ear but because it is only about 5% it isn’t worth very much. Luckily I am still gorgeous (kidding) and if all this bothers you then have a nice life.
