M Member Sep 14, 2019 Towards the end of our stay , we did manage to get our travel insurance working for us. The first hospital was a private hospital. But we did use the European Insurance card too , which also helped getting the meds cheaper. As we where told the meds would be 800 euros and the EIC card massively reduced the cost. So I had to find another hospital ( state hospital used for all ) and works through the NHS abroad on the EIC.
