Today - July 21 we had a very nice Memorial Service & the scattering of my longtime partner Gil's ashes in the small creek , here on the property. We had a Scotish Bagpiper play a few tunes; there was also a military honor gaurd & taps was played. I was presented with the US flag too. Gil was a WW II vet; workedd as an operating room tech in N. Africa, Italy & France. Gil was 97 y.o. & had been extremely ill - for a long time; cancer the 2nd time around & other ailments. I miss him terribly !
