M Member Nov 13, 2024 Just made a cocktail suggested by a nudist friend here. The source of the cocktail seems to be Ernest Hemingway who was a big fan of bull fighting... Hence the name "Death in the Afternoon". Hemingway goes on to suggest "Hemingway says: Pour one jigger absinthe into a Champagne glass. Add iced Champagne until it attains the proper opalescent milkiness. Drink three to five of these slowly. I'm shipping in one right now and, trust me, ONE of these is more than enough!
