You hear the question, "How do you know someone is vegan?" The answer always given with that goes, "Don't worry, they will tell you." I just say what brings it up when I am already in conversation and others start with some comments I have to disagree with, such as "animals are made for food." A parallel to that is responding to what we have to disagree with, such as "we should be nude with anyone else only for having sex." Then we should speak our disagreement.
