Ice finally melted off the pond a few days ago, I am the first person of the New Year 2021 to brave jumping into the cold waters. Was like pins and needles on the whole body, reminded me of the January 1st Polar Plunge in Lake Michigan. After initial shock, I ran into the water a second time, to dive back under for a photo op. Some ice still floating on the southern shaded edge of pond, so water temps are still only around 32F
