While visiting the Grand Canyon, we ventured to a nearby place along side the Sunset Crater Volcano NM. it was Wupatki NM. Wupatki National Monument was one of those places that less traveled than Grand Canyon but left you impressed on how the Indians of 1000 plus years ago made it go in this mostly desert of a climate and used the land to engineered a very complexed culture. So then, with less peeps around it was time to enjoy the three ruins sites in the nude. Added another item to bucket list.
