great rivers and beaches in the bay area and nearby Sierra Nevadas. Just discovered Bonny Doon State Beach 11 miles north of Santa Cruz, Ca. Beautiful beach, protected cove, 65 degree weather on the coast feels like 75 in the cove, very cool, mellow scene....
