With the strong easterly in Victoria (Australia) yesterday, most would be avoiding the sand-blown beaches. BUT The Oaks East (see in locations here) is perfectly sheltered in an easterly. Myself and a couple of other regulars got to enjoy a day in the warm sunshine watching the wind whip up the ocean, but perfectly protected :) .... so next time the easterly blows, ..... TODAY, however, is another story! The weather is exceptional and I'll be in those rock pools at The Oaks East asap.
