Have not seen any poles that I am aware of. Hope you find them. Yes, anything you want to try is fine. We just had 3 days of nice weather, got a bunch of firewood cut up and split, nice to be able to do it unimpeded with fabric. I'll just have to put up with wearing stuff for awhile mostly now, but I'm getting to love the lack of even more, just feels so much better when working. I would like to make a foil lined TIPI someday and see what it feels like in cold weather with a fire in the middle
