having a challenging summer so far. i was so looking forward to embracing the elements naked again this summer and an infection blew open my foot. apparently it had been brewing for some time so i have been on iv antibiotics for three weeks so far (plus two more oral antibiotics) and was put on the amputatiion surgery list three times. so far i am holding onto my quarter foot or below knee amputation depending on which ortho surgeon i am dealing with. with a lot of luck it may resolve.
