After getting back to the car I grabbed my repellent and went back in the woods a bit to where it was safe to strip down and re-apply repellent to chase away any determined ticks. I won't go back to that exact trail, it was too grassy, to much of a risk for tick bites. But there should be some better trails nearby I will try in the next couple of weeks. (continued in next post)
