I find private profiles a joke on a site like this ! I understand the needs to some level of privacy until you get to know a person, but having your whole profile hidden, as in showing NOTHING at all about you, but you are free to read anyone else's profile, yet they can't even see what your likes etc, are on yours. Think that's taking it a little too far. At least let people see if you have anything in common to respond to.
